Visitors Hafen restaurant, opened in 2015 in the Swiss town of Romanshorn, have the opportunity to evaluate its original interior in maritime style. The institution was built on the shores of Lake Constance, and therefore its design and architecture overlap with the ship theme.
Five large windows are installed in the side walls instead of windows. They visually enlarge a small room space. Spacious kitchen equipped at the rear of the building. In spite of this, part of the dining room was designed as an additional cooking zone to increase the efficiency of the working process.
The bar is partially clad metal and painted white. Speakers wooden ribs of the ceiling design make catchy and impressive, keeping the theme of the sea.
His contribution to the formation of the interior in maritime style makes one more interesting detail: this is an unusual captain horn, through which visitors can connect with an imaginary engine room.
All overhead lighting can move along special rails that are attached to the ceiling. This feature has been provided in connection with the need to change the location of the tables in summer and winter. During the summer, through a sliding door access to the terrace, accommodating up to 100 people.
Boardwalk terrace, which looks more like a deck, decorated boxes of different sizes, made from stainless steel. They resemble ship the boxes, placed on the dock. They grow herbs.
